Counseling & Community Resources

Lindsay D'Agostino, LMSW, is our resident counselor and Resource Director. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental space that supports mental, emotional, and physical well-being—meeting each client where they are and honoring their individual experiences, needs, and readiness for change.

Lindsay uses a compassionate, individualized approach grounded in social work and behavioral health. Depending on each client's needs and goals, sessions may incorporate solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based strategies, and other practical tools that support emotional awareness, self-regulation, coping, and meaningful change.

Her training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Lindsay is also a HeartMath® Certified Practitioner, allowing her to integrate evidence-informed self-regulation and heart rate variability biofeedback strategies when appropriate.

Whether counseling is used independently or as part of a broader plan of care, the goal is to identify strengths, develop practical strategies, and create sustainable changes that support greater well-being in everyday life.

HeartMath® & HRV Biofeedback

Stress is not simply something we experience emotionally. It has a physiology.

HeartMath® uses heart rate variability (HRV) biofeedback to help you become more aware of how your nervous system responds to stress, emotion, attention, and changing demands. With real-time feedback and guided techniques, you can learn and practice skills that support greater self-regulation and resilience.

Working with Lindsay D'Agostino, LMSW, HeartMath® Certified Practitioner, our clients learn techniques they can use not only during a session, but in everyday situations—at work, at home, during periods of heightened stress,
or while navigating health challenges and life transitions.

HeartMath® may be incorporated into counseling or used as a focused skill-building service. Depending on individual needs, it may also support:

  • Stress and emotional regulation

  • Greater awareness of physiological responses

  • Recovery following periods of heightened stress

  • Focus and attention

  • Resilience and adaptability

  • Development of practical self-regulation skills

The goal isn't only to eliminate stress. It is to help the body become more capable of responding to it—and recovering from it.
